The base and frog have been casted as one to allow the plane to run smoothly over the stock with little to no chatter and a heavier body for increased performance. The precision machined base is flat to. 003in and the blade is made of A2 steel for increased edge retention and has a patented lateral adjustment locking feature, solid brass adjustments for smooth operation and cherry wooden handles provide great control to achieve accurate results every time.
