Set the switch to 'MAN' for manual mode, allowing the fan to continuously run until the switch is returned to the OFF 'O' position'; Set the switch to 'AUTO' for the automatic mode, which will automatically cycle the blower on as the heater heats up and then off when the unit has cooled.
