Coloured Clay Marbling - 6 Weeks (Intermediate) by Atelier Make

In this 6-week, 3-hour-per-week intermediate course, we'll explore two techniques to add flair to your thrown or hand-built projects: coloring clay and marbling. We'll start by creating colored clays using pigments and oxides in various hues and intensities. Then, we'll combine white porcelain with colored clay or brown stoneware to achieve a marbled effect. While we'll primarily work on the wheel, handbuilding is also an option. Basic wheel throwing or handbuilding skills are beneficial. By the end, you'll have 10-15 personalized pieces and can repeat the class to explore new projects.
