The body of the MEL (Micro Effects Lights) can be secured to various surfaces with hot glue or temporarily mounted with gaffer’s tape. When operated from a new 9 volt battery, the operating time can be expected to be greater than 18 hours. The MEL light uses a 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC barrel connector for power input. The overall length of the light and the clip is 8″ ref. The Micro Effects Light heads are 1.42 inch nominal in length and 0.48 inch nominal in diameter. The lights are turned on and off either by removing the battery clip from the battery or unplugging the battery clip plug from the back of the light head. The light head LED is 3mm diameter (0.118”).
